7 DAYS BEAUTY OF NEPAL
Day 01 Kathmandu (Dinner)
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. After a short rest by visiting the 2000 years old Swoyambhunath stupa, (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) sometimes also known as the monkey temple .The temple charms with its great dazzling stupa, while at the same time offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu Valley. Next destination is Patan, (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) the oldest and second largest of the three cities in Kathmandu valley. Patan likes to recall its old name LALITPUR (city of beauty). Above all, it remains a proud city of artisans; Patan produces nearly all Nepal’s fine metal work. Enroute, stop at a Tibetan carpet factory where you can see the spinning, dyeing &weaving of Tibetan carpets. Drive back to hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu-Nagarkot (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast visit to Kirtipur. Kirtipur is located 5 km from the centre of Kathmandu. In Nepali dialect Kirtipur means "a glorious town". Looking down from its natural order it has been the scan of many historic battels and many important moments in Nepal's history. History says that the ancient city Kirtipur was founded by Shiva Deva between 1099 AD and 1126 AD and during the reign of the Malla Kingdom in the 15th century the city was developed for human settlement. The town is an ancient town, which consists of remarkable historical values and ethics. It is still an open museum of religion, culture and tradition and glorious work of Newari crafts and architecture. With majority of Newari community, the city house about 43.000 people approximately according to the data of year 2003. Kirtipur town is harmonical convergence of Buddhist and Hindus. After Kirtipur will proceed to go Nagarkot, which is at a height of 2300 m above the sea level. From this lovely scenic spot you can catch the excellent view of the Himalayan range at sunset and even Mount Everest on a clear day.
Day 03 Nagarkot – Kathmandu-Pokhara (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Wake up early and have a good view of the breathtaking Nagarkot, which provides an excellent scenery of the mountain ranges Langtang, Amadablam, Dorje Lhakpa, Chobhabhamre, Manaslu etc a lovely scenic spot, with a sun rise. If you wish you can have a little time for walk to see the Nagarkot village. Then drive to the airport and take a flight to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara pick up from Pokhara airport, check in to hotel. In the evening, boating at Fewa lake for 1 hour. While boating, you'll have the chance to see the beautiful Himalayan Panorama, especially Machhapuchare, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Himal. Walk back or drive to the hotel.
Day 04 Pokhara (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
A half day tour of Pokhara is in store for you and we will visit various parts of the lakeside village, and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world made up by the Annapurna Himal, the majestic Machhapuchare and other surrounding snow-capped peaks. Afternoon or morning we will be visiting Davis fall, followed by the Tibetan refugee camp where the barter trading is still being practiced. Then will be visiting old Market of Pokhara and Vindhebasini Temple as well as Seti George.
Day 05 Pokhara – Kathmandu (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Lunch on the way. Upon reach Kathmandu evening is free on your own.
Day 06 Kathmandu (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Before reach hotel go for sightseeing tour to Boudhanathstupa. After reach Kathmandu Lunch. Then after a short rest go for sightseeing trip to see famous durbar square of Kathmandu, and Hanumandhoka (Hanuman gate) and Kasthamandap dominated by Shiva temple where the “Living virgin Goddess” Kumari lived. By the same time you will see God Shiva and Parvati temple, Narayan temple, Setobhairab, Kalbhairab and Taleju temple, which was builted in 17th century. After Kathmandu Durbar square visit to Boudhanathstupa.(UNESCO world heritage site in 1979) This is a fantastic Buddhist stupa at a place known as Buddha, about seven kilometers east of Kathmandu. The largest spherical stupa is held in great veneration both by Lamas of Nepal and Tibet. Drive back to hotel in Kathmandu. Half day free for relax or shopping.
Day 07 Departure (Breakfast)
Drive to airport for flight back home.
