Do also consider selecting hotels who have a dedicated heating pool for better pleasure!  Best season for whale watching! Whale season normally runs from June and peaks somewhere near August till October. Do expect prices to peak during this period due to the school holidays! In July as well, Gold Coast host an international marathon!

SPRING (SEPTEMBER to NOVEMBER) – for those who are fond of cold weather, temperatures are warming up during this period – 15 to 29 degrees celsuis. Likewise, during this period, prices may peak due to the school holidays in September, thus it is always recommended to book early. Try to avoid travelling in November as most of the hotels/resorts are packed with local students who are on "SCHOOLIES WEEK" where they enjoy all week long!

Was there with my family a few weeks ago, stayed at Grand Chancellor Gold Coast, hotel location is good, near to surfers paradise, handful choices of halal food for my family too, near hard rock cafe and plenty of night life nearby.

Hotel was good, do request for high floor as hotel comes with balcony, wonderful views of the city/long stretch of coastal beach for the picture perfect frame. Has a malaysian halal restaurant located nearby 10 minutes walk run by malaysians, do drop by to have a look, close till late 10pm? hotel is also a mere 10 minutes walk to beach.

My children thoroughly enjoy the theme parks! sky-point climb is also a must do for thrill seekers.
